This is a restaurant I imagined and branded. I wanted to bring some authentic seafood to the midwest. The Fish House logo is simple and modern while still referencing fish bones and marine life under an inviting structure.
I laser cut a piece of pine for the sign, using the laser to cut away the negative space and reveal the natural grains of the wood. I then stained it in an ebony stain and handprinted the letters white. The texture of the wood really brings out the authenticity of the brand.
Fish House is simplistic, authentic and environmentally conscientious with an overarching essence of fulfillment. This project is very close to completion but still under refinement for my senior show in May of 2017 so check back for revisions.
