This is a visualized sound wave representing some important points in microphone history. The background is copper which is the original material of the coils contained in the first microphones. Cymatics was heavily researched during the conceptual stage of this project. This poster won an award at A11 in 2015 and is in the Nelson Art Gallery’s archive. I was inspired by sound after the completion of this work and decided to study sound design and production.
